We conducted testing on roads and highways across America, at temperature extremes from –40 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. We also used trucks driven by robots at our Michigan Proving Grounds facility, allowing us to compress years of real-world conditions into a mere few months. Our objective: Enable Transit to take on the toughest challenges encountered in your everyday jobs.
ERGONOMIC DESIGN
Ford designers have made the instruments and controls in the E-Series as easy to read and operate as possible. And they took the cover for the engine and turned it into a multifunctioning console with beverage holders and storage trays.
