Three turbocharged engines power the 2026 Ford Bronco. The 2.3L EcoBoost four-cylinder makes 300 horsepower and 325 lb-ft, the 2.7L EcoBoost V6 steps to 330 horsepower and 415 lb-ft, and the Bronco Raptor's 3.0L twin-turbo V6 delivers 418 horsepower and 440 lb-ft. Ford rates all three on premium fuel.

The transmission story is the interesting part. A seven-speed manual with six forward gears plus a crawler gear is standard with the 2.3L, and a 10-speed automatic is optional there and standard with the larger engines. Every Bronco is four-wheel drive, with a two-speed transfer case and available electronic-locking front and rear differentials.

Choose the 10-speed automatic and you unlock the Bronco's trail software: Ford Trail Control works like low-speed off-road cruise control, Trail One-Pedal Driving combines acceleration and braking on one pedal, and Trail Turn Assist tightens the turning circle. None of those come with the manual.

The 2026 Bronco seats four in two-door form and five as a four-door, and the cabin is built to be hosed out rather than fussed over. Badlands, Stroppe Edition, and Raptor come with rubberized washout flooring and drain plugs, and marine-grade vinyl is standard on the Badlands.

Cargo room in a four-door with the hard top measures 35.6 cubic feet behind the second row and 77.6 cubic feet behind the first. Heated front seats arrive with the Mid Package on Big Bend and above, and a MOLLE seat-back strap system is available for gear.

Removable doors and roof panels define the 2026 Bronco, and Ford designed the frameless doors to stow in the vehicle. Two-door models ride a 100.4-inch wheelbase while four-doors stretch to 116.1 inches, and only the Base and Badlands are offered in two-door form for 2026.

Ground clearance climbs from 8.3 inches on a base two-door to 11.6 inches with the Sasquatch package, which adds 35-inch tires and locking differentials. Properly equipped, the Bronco tows 3,500 pounds, and the Raptor is rated for 4,500.
