1. Super Duty

Starting with the F-250 and going up through the F-450, the tough Super Duty lineup can accommodate anywhere from 18,900 to 40,000 pounds. These trucks come with a 405 or 435-horsepower V8 or a 475 or 500-hp diesel engine. The latter gives you up to 1,000 pound-feet of torque. To max out the towing capacity of your Super Duty truck, add the available Gooseneck Hitch package.

You’ll need to install the Tow/Haul package to handle more than 11,600 pounds with a gas engine or more than 10,800 pounds with a hybrid version of the F-150.
